French Immersion in Burgundy Itinerary

live the culture, language and gastronomy...

Itinerary Overview:

There is only one way to truly experience the French lifestyle and that’s by living it! Immerse yourself in the food, culture, history and landscape of France while taking steps towards mastering one of the most beautiful and widely-spoken languages in the world.

Your home for 9 amazing days is at a beautiful 17th Century Château residence located in a unique historical area of France, where Burgundy France-Comté and the Rhône-Alpes meet, nestled amongst 10 hectares of wooded parkland at the foot of the Jura mountains.

The hallmark of the Château is conviviality and warm French hospitality. Its natural and peaceful surroundings provide the perfect retreat for your French Immersion vacation. The grounds include a volley ball, a badminton court, and hammocks for relaxation, as well as a large area for a partie of classic pétanque. The charming living-rooms and rustic libraries provide intimate spaces for reading.
Bicycles are available for guests who wish to explore the quaint nearby villages and discover the local way of life. The rooms at the Château are spacious and elegant with their own ensuite. In the provincial kitchen regional cuisine is prepared daily with local fresh produce, by our in-house chef; a fine mix of French home cooking paired with regional wines.
Our signature Itinerary also includes private tours, cooking classes, and outings to Michelin star restaurants. During the entire journey our guests are cosseted by private transfers, secure with local experts who know the area intimately.
You can take part in the morning French Language Sessions at your own pace (3 h duration) which are conducted on-site at the Château-Ecole with qualified teachers. The French Lessons are divided into small groups 3-4 students (from beginner-advanced levels).
